Great location for island hopping. Boat guides and crew worked hard and did the job well.

Boss never responded to my messages online, property was on an island but only found out well and truly after booking. Expensive food

Clean and nice view. Manager was comprehensive, she let us cancel a night without penalty.

Too far from mainland, it will cost you 1000 php each time you wanna go back to mainland outside of your check out and check in. We booked tour A for island hopping and learned it wasnt possible anymore 15 minutes before departure the next morning. They have a restaurant but it took almost 2 hours to get our food after we ordered (tuna sandwich and spaghetti).

The place is built on a peninsula and whilst they are finishing it up, the view of the sea is extremely nice. The staff was great despite the obvious difficulties of be in a place that is so isolated. Lito (the owner) was courteous and addressed all my questions and concerns. Whilst I liked the place and met great people there, I would say that it’s definitely not for everyone as the place doesn’t have yet all the amenities needed. I’m sure once the place is finished ( swimming pool and hot tub outside) it will be a fabulous retreat!

The property is located in a penisola and can only be accessed via boat. The staff did it’s best to accommodate the guests needs, but it’s definitely not easy to access it or to move around. I had a room with no windows and therefore, it was dark and not very airy apart from the entrance.

The situation is amazing - peacefully away from El Nido itself, a lovely set of spacious rooms with a great wooden balcony overlooking the water. Christine and her staff were super kind and helpful. There is now good Wifi service. This is a good setting off point to go on the boat tours.

The description of the resort at booking.com is not accurate and needs to be regularly updated. While we were there several guests arrived very disappointed and this is not because the place is less that lovely, but it's not accurately presented when you book. The booking page suggests it's a high end shiny place, and it's not. This is a destination for more adventurous travellers, happy to climb in and out of boats and treat unexpected and wet excursions through the mangroves as an adventure. The resort is miles from El Nido, and getting there and back is arduous. That's a good thing in some ways as El Nido is crazy busy, but it needs to be clear. The fact of the distance means that it takes a while for you to be collected to go there, so all the guests arrived much later than they'd expected (all after long journeys), and this was on one's fault but should be made clear. All journeys are tide and coastguard dependent, sounds obvious but it should be spelt out to guests not used to this. When we went the pier, so lovely in the photos, had been destroyed so accessing the resort is hard (small wet boats transferring you to and from) and we were disappointed not to be able to sit on the pier. This should have been mentioned on the booking site. When we went the pool was under construction, so at the moment there is NO POOL, which should be clear on the booking site, and the place looks like a bit of a building site - not a big deal but it should be mentioned on the booking site. The booking site says there is a beach. If this is the case it needs to be clearly signposted from the resort. We could not see one. The booking site says there is a hot tub/jacuzzi. We could not see one. None of these spoilt our stay at all, but it's frustrating that the resort is being mis-sold.

When we booked on booking.com it did not specify that this resort was only accessible by a 30minute boat ride. We booked trips from Corong-Corong and had to pay the hotel to drop us there even though when we booked it said nothing about being isolated. They do offer the Tours A,B,C from their own resort for a similar price but this wasn’t advertised before we arrived. It’s quite isolated and once there it is the only place to eat. Staff very friendly and willing to help. However, when we wanted to order we you had to go searching for them in their residence to order.

First of all , the resort located about a 30 min in a boat from the city center and that is the lonely way to get out from there, In addition to that the boat is not free ,it cost 500php each way to the town , and they didn’t mention this point in booking.com And if you want to go out at night just for hang out you should be ready for scary sailing in the middle of the sea at night NOT RECOMMEND With there’s boats. 3 the room that we received has a problem with the door locker so we couldn’t lock the door 4 and this is the most important thing , the water is not clean at all they has a yellow color and a really bad smell. You feel like you take a shower with a toilet water really disgusting ???????? And when we was there , another ???????? couple fells the same and leave , we also booked another hotel (seashell) for our last 2 days in el nido and it was perfect Note: my advice DO NOT Book this disgusting resort .

If you don’t mind .......

Beautiful secluded location with lovely views & stunning sunsets. This is a very isolated hotel 45 min boat trip from El Nido surrounded by mangroves & wildlife - birds etc. The staff are friendly & helpful under difficult circumstances. They helped us have a good time but with only a little more thought it could be fabulous hotel.

It’s not easy to get there & there was a lack of communication about the details of the pick up. Expect to get a wet getting to & from the hotel as the jetty was no longer in use after Nov 19’s typhoon - another is being built at the moment. The rooms are spacious but not very comfortable and they are not regularly serviced. All the seating in the hotel need cushions & a decently stocked bar would go along way. We enjoyed its quite isolation but if you want a party this is not the place for you.
